Great view of Balaton & nature & traditional yurt

a special place close to nature where you can enjoy wonderful views and untouched nature. You are surrounded by tranquility: there is no electricity, no gadgets, the water comes from a garden shower, you can see Lake Balaton from the shower. In the morning, the sun's rays wake you up, you can share the leftovers with the animals that also live here (deer, badgers, lizards). You can throw the paper on the evening campfire, you only produce metal and plastic waste. It's a wonderful feeling: to go on vacation with a fraction of your ecological footprint! The space Enjoy staying at a traditional Hungarian yurt close to nature, surrounded by the vast blue starry sky and a breathtaking view of lake Balaton. This is an unplugged place - there is no electricity so solar lamps will provide light at night. Everything is outdoors: the shower & toilet, and a fireplace to cook your meals in a kettle or on a grill grid (both provided). Staying at a yurt is nothing like a tent: yurts were the homes of the landtaking Hungarian tribes where they lived throughout the year. They had a proper door, a fireplace and lots of space to store their belongings. Yurts don't get hot as tents do, owing to their excellent ventillation. This comfort is topped by the proper sofa beds. When you open your door in the morning the view of the white sails on the blue lake will make you say: this is the life :) The yurt can be heated by a siesta heater in the autumn/spring months. Drinking water is available at our small parking lot. The water of the shower is rain water so please do not drink it! Guest access Please do not use small shed where we store our personal belongings. Please note, that there is another yurt in this huge property. The parking lot and the driveway are common, but the yurts are well separated (both visually and through distance) and they have their own private shower, wc, fireplace and equipment. Other things to note Please mind that this is an unplugged place: there is no electricity BUT drinking water is already available so no need to bring huge bottles of water with you!! Please make sure, however, to have your own drinking flask or bottle, as the tap is by our parking lot, some 50 meters downhill from the yurt itself.
