The Barn Flat near Sherborne, sleeps 2

The Barn Flat is self contained on a small farm with stunning views over the Dorset countryside. 10 minutes outside Sherborne with beautiful walks and many beaches within easy reach. You will be staying in self contained, purpose built accommodation with off road parking. Well equipped kitchenette & comfortable, light living area. The bedroom has twin beds, stunning views and is warm! The bathroom has a bath not a shower - see photos. Ideal for short to medium length stays. The space The Barn Flat is self contained but next to the main house so we are on hand if needed. Built 5 years ago and decorated to a very high standard, it makes the most of our wonderful, rural setting. Although we are only 10 minutes from Sherborne we are in the middle of beautiful farming and rural Dorset. We are surrounded by fields and farmland and can provide maps or guidance for exploring. We are about 45 minutes from the sea but only 10 minutes from Sherborne which is a beautiful town with lots of offer. Great shops and many places to eat or explore. Guest access You will have designated parking next to the flat and your own access to this self contained accommodation. Access to the flat is up the outside steps as pictured. The flat is stylishly and comfortably furnished with a kitchenette/diner/sitting room, twin bedroom and spacious bathroom. Each room boasts fabulous views for you to enjoy, particularly some very spoiling sunsets (although we cannot accept responsibility for the weather!). Beds can be pushed together or left as twins. If pushed together they are still made up with single sheets and duvets. Other things to note We do have horses, dogs, a cat, chickens, ducks, sheep and 3 sons. Please warn us in advance of any allergies or concerns. Access to the flat is up a reasonably steep staircase. There is a strong handrail but we regret there is no lift or wheelchair access. There are lots of good pubs in the area and details of these can be found in the flat. Sherborne, only 10 minutes away, has lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants but if you want to stay in, the kitchen is well equipped for general cooking although there is no microwave. Again, Sherborne has several excellent supermarkets and an outdoor market on Thursdays & Saturdays. There is also an excellent butcher and green grocer in the main street, Cheap Street (pedestrians only from 12 noon to 4pm).
