The space This home is one of the few, unique homes that backs onto to the Toohey Forest Hiking Tracks. Basically, you have a forest that you can start hiking from your own back yard!! Amazing!! To get to the forest, just walk around the house next door on the corner & up Andrew Ave. You will see the start of the Trail there. The studio has an entry from the terrace but the front door is located on the side of the building next to the feature door with the padlock. Enter from there. The Garage is reserved for the main house. You can park on the street in front of the studio. Conveniently Central & the perfect midway point between Brisbane & the Gold Coast, this chic & stylish studio is nice & comfortable with new & modern fittings. This quiet, 40sqm Studio is just 5 minute walk from the local Cafe (amazing breakfast), Fish n Chips, Convenience Store & Bakery. 9 minutes walk will get you to the local Thai, Italian & Indian restaurants as well as the The local Fresh Fruit & Veg shop. There is a City Bus stop which is 5 minute walk to Andrew Ave / Pope Street (Bus Stop 40). Catch the 112 or the 114 bus for a 20 minute ride into the city. This is great accommodation in a great location at a great price!! Free Unlimited Wifi. Air con & heating. A great fit for a couple or a small family, adults in the Queen bed and kids on the sofa. The place can sleep up to 2 adults + 1 small child but please be mindful it is a 40sqm studio so will be cosy, but great a few days while you enjoy Brisbane & the Gold Coast. During the warm weather and summer nights take advantage of the private outdoor patio area with a large dining table and outdoor lounge. We offer an automatic 5% discount for weekly bookings & 10% discount for monthly bookings. Peak Public holiday and Christmas times surcharge. Special discount for longer booking available on request. CHECK IN/OUT- Check in is anytime after 3pm (can drop off bags/ car parking early if arranged prior) Late check out of 11am - sleep in:) SLEEPING - Sleeping 3 in total in this studio space. A comfortable Queen bed & a sofa located in the lounge area. All linen provided. Fresh for each new guests. Extra blankets, doona and pillows also supplied in lounge room cupboard. KITCHENETTE- Updated, fully equipped and self-contained (2 burner stove top & 50ltr oven). New 240ltr split fridge, Microwave, kettle and toaster, pots n pans, Tupperware, plates, glass wear and utensils. Dining table with 3 chairs. BATHROOM- Bathroom with toilet & shower. No Bath. Fresh towels & some toiletries supplied - Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap. & of course - a Hairdryer. There is a separate hot water system just for this studio. SEATING/ LOUNGE ROOM- - 3 seater lounge - On-demand internet TV HEATING/COOLING - Split system Air conditioner (cooling/heating). CHILDREN - The space is family friendly. A porta cot, cot blankets and sheets, highchair and children’s books and small basket of toys in cupboard for our little guests. LAUNDRY- FREE- Washing machine built into the kitchenette and clothes airer provided. Iron and ironing board located inside the walk in robe. Washing machine is free for you to use during your stay, cold water wash only. Laundry powder provided. OUTDOOR AREA/PATIO- Private outdoor area attached to the studio. This is for your exclusive use only as part of this unit. Outdoor dining & lounge setting set up for you to enjoy during your stay. Strictly NO SMOKING inside the studio. DEFINITELY NO PARTIES!!, please keep noise to a minimum after 9pm as this is quiet family neighbourhood & we have had complaints in the past. NO PETS. PLEASE NO COOKING OF FISH, SEAFOOD or STINKY FOODS IN THE STUDIO!! Guest access The stairs that lead up to the main house is strictly reserved for the main house. The stairs & the area above is strictly off limits. Please respect this rule. Thanks. Other things to note The double garage & Pool/ Spa area is stricktly reserved for the main house
