A townhouse in Pollença with a special charm. You have access without any limit Sometimes I am not Pollensa but I am available all time by phone and also have a friend in Pollensa who can help you when you have questions. Pollença is around seven kilometres from the sea. A select circle of approximately 16,500 inhabitants lovingly keep the traditions of this beautiful and historic little town alive. The Pollençins, as the residents of Pollença are known on the island, are considered wealthy and idiosyncratic. They speak their own dialect, celebrate their local customs with dedication and support the fine arts. The romantic winding lanes and steps lined with natural stone house facades, pleasant restaurants and small shops date back to the time of the Moors and are perfect for a leisurely stroll through the historic old town. At the Plaça Mayor, in the heart of Pollença, the area between the church and the Club Pollença pulsates with life. Young and old meet here, to see and be seen. It’s a great place to spend some time, and you can enjoy the flair of this beautiful town from the terrace of the Ca’n Moixet (‘Pollença’s living room’). Looking out at the view of the Puig de Maria (Pollença’s local mountain, complete with monastery), any traveller will immediately feel at home. A market is held every Sunday. In addition to the beautiful old town, the 365 Calvari Steps are another of Pollença’s attractions. Once at the top, a wonderful view opens out over the town. The beaches of Cala San Vicente and Port de Pollensa are only a ten minute drive from the town. There a public car parks in Pollensa and also a public Bus Service to Palma, Puerto Pollensa or Cala San Vicente.
