"Our Place" is a cozy trailer house that sits on a working peach orchard. It was remodeled in 2021. We are located near the base of Mount Garfield and are 5 minutes from I-70 access and downtown Palisade. You are a short drive or bike ride from several local wineries, restaurants, the Palisade Brewery, and more. Shuttles to The Palisade Plunge are minutes away. We have a large, covered patio where you can relax, bbq on the gas grill, or enjoy coffee in the morning. Excellent wifi inside and out. The space "Our Place" has two bedrooms - one queen bed and one full, plus a couch bed in the living room. A roof-top evaporative cooler provides good cooling in the warmer months. There is also a window AC unit in the 2nd bedroom. You have the convenience of a full kitchen with all new appliances, washer and dryer, and a handy coffee station in the dining area. Guests will appreciate good wifi service throughout the property, plenty of off-street parking, a fenced backyard, and a large, covered porch. Guest access The speed limit throughout Palisade is 25 miles per hour. On roads leading out of the actual city limits, it is generally 35mph. The speed on our road (G 7/10) is 35mph. Parking in downtown Palisade is somewhat limited. Several businesses have their own parking lots, others require parallel parking on the streets, and there is one large lot near the distillery and the grocery store. Parking at "Our Place" should not be a problem. You can park one or two vehicles right in front of the house, next to it on the south, or on the north side of our peach shed which is straight ahead as you come down the driveway. These will become more evident once you see the place. All are on gravel. If you have an RV or trailer, we can accommodate those as well. Other things to note Our air conditioning unit is a rooftop-mounted evaporative cooler. Because we are in a dry climate, it does a good job even in the hot summer months. The 2nd bedroom is equipped with a window AC unit which cools that room quickly. We also have portable fans for added comfort.
