Mimosa Wines Homestead

Mimosa is situated on the popular coastal drive between Bermagui & Tathra on the far south coast of NSW. The 250 acre property sits in a tranquil valley between the mountains & the sea. The cottage is within an easy walk through the vineyard to our award winning restaurant. The cottage is the original house on the property, with this comes rustic features that add to its charm. The house is clean, comfortable and family-friendly. The space Mimosa estate is a 250 acre property which backs onto the Murrah State forest. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful bush land and vineyard, allowing for a peaceful private stay with plenty of space for outdoor activities. Mimosa has a number of walking tracks around the property from short to the more strenuous. We have a vast array of wildlife on the property such as kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and birds. Our a la carte restaurant is renowned as being one of the top places to dine in the area. Our standard opening ours are lunch from Thursday to Sunday and Saturday set menu dinners during the busy season. Bookings are essential. Guest access Guests are welcome to walk/cycle anywhere on the 250 acre property, however we do recommend that you stay on the walking tracks. Guests are also welcome to walk along the creek and enjoy the many water holes along the way although it is advised to wear shoes. Other things to note Very limited phone reception. At the homestead, Telstra users will have some patchy phone reception (best outside on the road). Other network users can usually find phone reception around the restaurant. WiFi is not available. We encourage guests to enjoy their time off the grid. All water comes from the property (tank and dam). There is a seperate filtered tap with rain water in the kitchen.
