Falerna Marina it is said is "where the sun sleeps" because of the daily ultra spectacular sunsets against the back drop of the Volcano Stromboli, the cobalt-blue Tyrrhenian Sea and other Aeolian islands such as Lipari and Panarea making these views unique and quite breathtaking. Guest access Guests will have full access to the Villa Vista Stromboli , its Gardens, Olive Groves and of course its lovely exclusive private pool area. The private gated Driveway is a multi car drive which can cater for up to eight individual vehicles quite easily. Other things to note As the Villa Vista Stromboli is nestled within a quiet residential area please ensure any music is turned off between 9am and 11pm. Please note the check in time at the Villa Vista Stromboli is 3pm, unfortunately we cannot allow entry before that time to allow our housekeeping team the time to prepare the property correctly for you. Check out is by 11am on your day of leaving. Please note that we advise a car would be preferable for your stay at the Villa as public transport only reaches the sea / beach front sporadically from the Airport and would then mean an uphill walk with cases and baggage. Locals walk this easily in 10 / 15 mins or so on a daily basis but not with cases and heavy baggage. Please remember the owners may be on-site at any time but in a completely separate building from the Villa itself with its own entrance. Pets are always welcome at the Villa Vista Stromboli upon request as we are Dog lovers ourselves but we ask that you keep barking to a minimum where possible and responsible owner waste clean up is adhered to at all times. A large selection of top quality Restaurants, Bars, mini marts, supermarkets and Beach Lidos are all within 15 minutes walk of the Villa and of course Falerna Marina and its wonderful romantic Sea Front too. And for those wishing to tour the surrounding area the world famous Unesco Heritage town of Tropea known as the Pearl of Calabria and a mere 60 minutes drive away. Be amazed with visits to local ancient gems such as the Sanctuary of Santa Maria, Pollino National Park dell'Isola, The Romito prehistoric Caves, The beautiful 6th Century Greek Gospel Book known as the Codex Purpureus Rossanensis in Rossano. Matera Sassi (cave dwellings) in neighbouring Basilicata. Byzantine Baptistery of Santa Severina plus so many more wonderful ancient sites and heartwarming hill top towns in all directions, Calabria is most certainly a wonder of the ancient world and a short drive from the doorstep of the Villa Vista Stromboli.
