Description

An amazing loft checking in 60m2, located in the heart of Paris in the favorite neighborhood of Saint Germain. Modern and authentic Parisian Arquitecture, lined with high ceilings, tall windows and exquisite parquet, captures the true essence of parisian lifestyle with casual simplicity and decor. Our favorite piece can be found outside the loft- the neighborhood provides everything you could need or visit! The space This apartmemt opens with a light feeling of a living room with a big comfy couch. The kitchen has been recently remade with waxed concrete floors, brick walls, wood counter and pine wood table seats for up to five people, fitting the space perfectly. One bedroom with queen bed leads up to the Loft mezzanine. The other, is the newly designed bedroom, with a cozy nook for the beds which can be set up as two twins or a queen bed. Finally under the mezzanine, is a small TV corner with a day bed where you can sit and lounge while watching your favorite shows, or it can be used as a sleeping area for one person. Just beyond, we have the bathroom with a large modern square sink, washer dryer combo, and bathtub providing a rain shower option or attached shower. Other things to note Sleeps up to 5 - Two bedroom in the heart of Paris Ultimate Left Bank location on Boulevard Saint Germain. Newly renovated apartment in historical Parisian neighborhood surrounded by fabulous shopping, restaurants, and sites. This 60m2 (645 square feet) apartment with an address directly on Boulevard Saint Germain, has recently been redesigned by a Parisian interior architect from one of Paris’ most prestigious architecture schools. The apartment, with high ceilings and tall French windows, has carefully been chiseled down in certain spots, revealing the rustic, original building structures, like wooden beams and bricks. With the new design, there is a meshing of an artistic, modern, industrial look with the original French structure. One enters the apartment into the entirely new kitchen. Its waxed concrete floors, gray walls, wood counter and metallic fridge give it an industrial edge. The simple pine wood table seats up to 5, fitting the space perfectly. Notice the Venetian ceiling lamp and the contemporary interpretation of a Cabaza Clava (Peruvian stone sculptures) on the wall; each room a perfect example of the blending of styles. To the right of the entryway is the newly designed bedroom, with a cozy nook for the beds which can be set up as two twins or a queen. A “palm jungle” motif wallpaper is the backdrop behind the headboard, and two designer hanging lamps are placed by each side of the bed for late night reading. A stylish contemporary lamp lights from the wall and on the opposite wall is a partial section of the original wooden beam (with original nails!) which have been exposed. The wall between the kitchen to the living room has been opened up, exposing the original brick which has been carved out in an artsy uneven way, which is eye-catching against the white and grey walls, gray cement floors, and designer lamps. The living room has an open light feeling, with herringbone parquet floors and a black marble fireplace bedecked with a huge mirror. A large and comfortable dark gray couch lines the wall with a mirrored door placed on white brick-shaped rocks serving as the coffee table. The artistic touches throughout are trendy with an undercurrent of classical French. Just around the corner of the living room, under the mezzanine, is a small TV corner with a day bed where you can sit and watch the TV, or it can be used as a sleeping area for one person. Climb up 7 steps to the mezzanine. From here one overlooks the living room, even seeing to the kitchen, giving a nice open view. The queen bed, with modern pine headboard, fits snugly into the space. Though not completely private, since the walls are open, this bedroom is visually discreet suspended above the living room. One can hold on to the rope railing when coming down from the mezzanine. The bathroom is straight ahead. The WC in the first section of the bathroom can be closed off from either side with sliding doors. Just beyond is the main part of the bathroom with a large modern square sink, washer dryer combo, and bathtub providing a rain shower option or attached shower. The apartment is located directly on the Boulevard Saint Germain, a favorite neighborhood in the heart of Saint Germain, just a few steps away from metro Odeon. Set back in the courtyard away from the busy street, the only noise that can be heard is the sound of school children during their recreation breaks during school days, since the school’s courtyard is juxtaposed with the apartment’s courtyard. The Seine is a couple blocks away, as well as Saint Michel, and the Jardin du Luxembourg. From here it’s an easy walk to Le Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ile Saint Louis or Châtelet. In fact Paris is such a beautiful city for walking, that one can explore almost all of Paris by foot from this central base. There is no shortage of fabulous restaurants. Just up the street is the Procope, Paris’ oldest restaurant. Many other tantalizing dining choices await you, whether gastronomical, ethnic, nouvelle cuisine, or simple creperie. This area is also famous for its art galleries, and on opening nights, feel free to join in and mingle, or just stroll down the streets bustling with stylish people.
