Description
Located along the Swannonoa River only 12 minutes from downtown Asheville, this quaint space is a perfect getaway for a fun weekend or a personal retreat. Jacuzzi tub for two, private wooded porches w/hammock, and glider make this a sweet mountain getaway. The studio is the first floor of our private home. We live on the second floor with our toddler. While the spaces are entirely separate, you will hear the day-to-day noises of a family upstairs. We’ve priced the studio accordingly. The space Relax on the hammock and enjoy the sounds of the river on the porch glider. The comfortable, private porch is the perfect place for reading, relaxing, and enjoying an afternoon beverage. Enjoy a Jacuzzi tub for two and wind down. The studio is accessed through a private entrance with private parking and features a queen size bed and a sofa, flat screen tv with Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu streaming services, DVD player, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, and microwave. Coffee, tea, and chilled water are provided. Studio is stocked with care. Books, games, and art supplies for a creative and relaxing vacation. The property is located in a house perched in the trees--ideal bird watching and spotting wild turkeys, river otters, blue herons, beavers, ducks, and the occasional black bear. Please note that while actual treehouses are amazing, this is a "treehouse," meaning a studio within a house in the trees! We just want to be clear. Guest access Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home on the studio's porches. Other things to note The studio is on the first floor of our family home. On a typical day, you will hear us going about our everyday lives. We wake around 6:30 and leave the house by 8 on weekdays. Weekends are a little more unpredictable. Things quiet down by 7:30. While we aim to provide a peaceful and restful retreat, you’re likely to hear little feet and a toddler finding her voice in the morning and early evenings. The driveway to the studio is steep, like many driveways in Asheville. To leave, you will back down the driveway and turn around at the cul-de-sac at the end of our street.
