On the periphery of a small village, Majhkali, the cottage is 10 Km’s from Ranikhet city. Overlooking the snow capped Himalayan peaks of Trishul, Nandadevi, Nandkot, and Panchachuli. The cottage is 8 hrs from Delhi. The space Our home is best suited for a group of families & friends, looking to spend quality time together with peace. We also have made provisions for guests who prefer to work from the cottage with 99% uptime wifi Connection. We do not allow Drugs, Firearms or outside visitors. Loud music not allowed after 9 PM. The Property is located about 8 hours from Delhi by road. For those coming via train and arriving at Kathgodam station, it would take about two and a half hours from the station. At our estate, you get to reside in a sustainably and artistically crafted villa that has all the modern facilities while being situated in a verdant forest area. The property receives ample sunlight and the front lawn is the perfect place to lounge with a book from our elaborate collection. Mornings and evenings make for great times to head out for a short hike. We have several small hikes starting from the cottage. All this while, the caretaker- Ramesh will be assisting you with the property amenities and Harish will be available to cook delicious meals. The Himvarsha Chalet Forestiere has 2 bedrooms that are available for rent. In addition, the property includes a fully stocked kitchen, Smart tv with all your most viewed apps, a living room with a speaker, a dining area, a lawn with swing chairs and an entertainment room with the following facilities: 1) Board games 2) Darts 3) Tennis can be arranged at the Ranikhet Club) / Paid In addition to this we also have a football and badminton racquets should you wish to indulge in outdoor sports. As you wind up your day, Ramesh will be happy to set up a bonfire or barbecue for you under the starry sky. Guest access The closest market area is Majkhali which is located about a km from the property. Basic amenities such as bread, milk and biscuits can be procured from a shop less than 400m away. An advance notice of food and grocery requirements can be given. The property has parking space available for one car. There is adequate network coverage and WiFi (100Mbps + another 8MBPS Connection) is provided for in the main living area. Though there are heaters in every room, guests are advised to carry adequate warm clothing as the nights can get very cold during winters. For food, we provide An à la carte Menu card with cuisines including Indian, Mughlai, Continental, Kumaoni and Chinese. Other things to note 1) The property has two Bedrooms, 1 dining area, one living area, Kitchen and a private deck. Bathrooms are attached in every bedroom. When you make a reservation, you get exclusive access to all the spaces. 2) If you have any special dietary requirements, please inform in advance. There are not many restaurants in close proximity and Zomato etc do not deliver in the area. 3) Bonfire and barbecue will require prior notice. 4) Accommodation for a driver can be provided on a sharing basis for a nominal charge of Rs 500/day. 5) Food timings: Breakfast (8-10AM), Lunch (1-3PM), Dinner (7-9PM). 6) Check in (after 1PM) and check out (before 11AM) timings to be strictly adhered to.
