Borgo Bazziganta in the Colli Bolognesi area about 30min from Bologna. Lucia & Peter offer, in their restored farmhouse, one 2BD luxury room and bathroom with amazing views; if required an extra adjacent 2BD room. We are travelled European citizens; speaking 5 languages; offering insights of the area; Italy; Europe & the world. We love to cook for guests for an additional fee. Our area is known for nature, truffles, mushrooms, wines, MTB, trekking, fast engines, art cities and much, much more. The space Borgo Bazziganta was a big 17th century farm. We rebuilt part of it in 2015 as a comfortable country home on 1.5 hectares of land. We fell in love with its amazing 360° views; the peace and quiet; the deer grazing in the fields next to the house; the fresh eggs, salads and figs from our neighbor farmer and; the opportunity to share this magical location with friends and guests. We combine our Airbnb offer with Social Eating events and other emerging forms of the Sharing Economy. Bear with us that our garden is still a work in progress. Guest access Guests have free access to our large living; entry hall and; kitchen with dining table; the 1,5 hectares of land and terraces around the house, each with lovely views of sunrise, sunset, Appennines, Po Valley and occasionally the Alps. The semi-private guest area is on the first floor and consists of a luxury 2BD with it's own bathroom, both with amazing views. Whenever required we offer an additional adjacent 2BD room. During your stay Peter my husband and myself, Lucia will be available for tips and advice about how to get the best of a short or long stay in the area and the rest of Italy. We speak Italian, English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish and are both active in the local Slow Food movement. Enjoy lovely walks; road & MTB bike tours; visit to wineries; little known museums; nearby medieval villages and local cheese-makers. Or just relax and enjoy Slowlife in the countryside. If you like to head into Bologna we have plenty of off the beaten tracks advice to make your visit unforgettable. Last but not least Bottura's world best restaurant, Ducati, Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini are all within 35 km distance! Other things to note Our guest bedroom has 2 comfortable beds which can be used as one big double bed or, if so wished as twin beds. Adjacent your luxury private bathroom. If required the adjacent room offers an extra comfortable bed plus a sturdy campbed with a full size mattress for 2 more people.
