Recently refurbished, stylish, spacious character apartment located within a grade II listed former pub. Conveniently located just outside Taunton with very easy access to the M5, the property has it's own parking spaces. The apartment is reached via external stairs so has limited accessibility, it is therefore listed it as unsuitable for under 2 year olds. Although there is good ceiling height within rooms, being an old building, there are a few reduced height doorways to be cautious of. The space The apartment has a spacious sitting room, a stunning kitchen diner with vaulted ceiling. There is a stylish bathroom with large shower and bath and a compact ensuite adjoining the main bedroom. The property has been recently renovated and decorated and furnished tastefully throughout. There is secondary glazing throughout for added heat and sound insulation. Access to the property is through a courtyard which also provides disabled access to the Optician below. The seating area in the courtyard can be used when the Optician is closed but is to be kept tidy throughout the stay. Guest access Since there is plenty of communal space and in order to keep prices proportional to the number of visitors, guests will only have access to the number of bedrooms required for their party size. Bedroom 1 with the ensuite will be available by default with bedroom 2 and/or 3 only available as necessary and dependent on number of guests booked. It is essential your booking is for the correct number of guests. Other things to note The property is grade II listed so with the benefits of character comes the downsides of a few low door heights. The property is accessed via external stairs to is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. Although there is a lot of sound insulation in place this is an old building and sound can carry downstairs. This is particularly noticeable when we have had children running around upstairs. We have therefore had to make the unfortunate decision to no longer offer the accommodation to anyone with children. As per our house rules we expect our guests to keep noise to a minimum particularly during working hours. This is a self catering property and guests will need to supply all food items. There will be a small supply of dishwasher tablets and washing pods to start you off.
