This family holiday home with a large garden and parking for two cars is away from the hustle and bustle of Southwold yet close enough for a memorable holiday, with a path taking you directly to the seafront near the pier. The house was recently renovated to ensure you have everything you need for eight guests, with two king size beds, a double, twin, and bunk beds. The space The living/kitchen/dining space is sure to be at the heart of your holiday, giving ample space to relax, cook and dine, with views over the garden so you can watch the kids playing. An additional living room is ideal for any guests wanting a bit of peace and quiet! A chic contemporary design runs through all four bedrooms with comfy mattresses and ample space for you to unpack. The bathroom is conveniently located for guests in all bedrooms, the main bedroom also has an en-suite cloakroom and there's an additional cloakroom on the ground floor. Parking is a big bonus here with an EV charger (charged as required) and off-street parking for a car on the driveway with another on the road by the drive. The super large garden is great for all the family and one four legged friend, with a creek (fenced off), fruit trees and so much space to run around, rustle up a BBQ; or simply relax in the sun and enjoy the views of the beach huts and amazing birdlife. GROUND FLOOR You’re welcomed into an elegant hallway with wooden floor and stairs rising to the first floor. CLOAKROOM WC and wash basin KITCHEN/DINING/LIVING SPACE This is a great space where eight guests can spend time together with all that you need to self-cater in the kitchen, a dining table with chairs and bench, and a massive corner sofa with TV for entertainment. The kitchen is equipped with a Bosch electric oven, Bosch gas hob with extractor, microwave, Bosch slimline dishwasher, under counter fridge, an original Nespresso machine (bring your own pods), kettle and toaster. In the garage there's a second fridge with freezer compartment above, additional 60cm chest freezer, washing machine and dryer. PORCH Between the kitchen and the garden, this is a great storage space with hooks for coats and footwear. There's access from here to the garden gives easy access for dining al-fresco. LIVING ROOM This second reception room is a real bonus, allowing guests a bit of privacy or quiet time or entertainment with a Smart TV, shelves stacked with books for you to browse, lots of games to choose from, and comfy seating for an afternoon nap! UPSTAIRS Bed configurations are two king size beds, a twin and bunk room. MAIN BEDROOM Sitting at the front of the house and furnished with a king size bed, bedside drawers, small chest of drawers, chair and hanging rail. EN-SUITE En-suite cloakroom with WC and wash basin. DOUBLE BEDROOM Also at the front of the house with a king size, chest of drawers and built in cupboard. TWIN BEDROOM Overlooking the garden with twin beds and storage in a cabinet with peg rail and shelf. BUNK BEDROOM Great for the kids with full size bunk beds, desk, shelf, built in cupboard and peg rail. BATHROOM Fully tiled, the bath has a hand shower over and there’s a shower cubicle, WC and wash basin sitting under the window. OUTSIDE Hillside View is a semi-detached house tucked away at the side of Reydon with parking for two cars - one one the drive and the other on the roadside. Please do not obstruct the access to Hillside Road. Ball games, long lazy lunches cooked on the charcoal BBQ (don't forget your charcoal!), or simply soaking up the sea can be enjoyed in the spacious garden, surrounded by countryside and amazing views. GARAGE The ping pong table here is great for rainy days and there's a washing machine, dryer and plenty of space to keep beach gear. LOCATION Reydon is a modern thriving rural community just over a mile inland from the picturesque town of Southwold on the Suffolk Coast. It has it’s own rich and colourful smuggling history but nowadays you can buy your alcohol and groceries from one of the two local stores or enjoy a delicious dining experience at The Randolph hotel. There are also lots of walks through Reydon woods filled with bluebells in late spring or on the marshland that sits alongside the Blyth estuary which is a haven for wildlife and filled with sea lavender in the summer months. Other things to note Whilst the house is pet friendly only one well-behaved dog is permitted to stay unless there's a special request. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture and please be sure to clean up after them in the garden. EV charger - When you've made your booking you'll be given the owners' details so you can pay them for the usage of the EV charger if required.
