Entire, comfortable apartment for 1-6 persons on the 5th floor in a historic building in the heart of the Bernese Old Town. Private bathroom. 10 minutes walk to Bern main train station, few minutes to Zytglogge or the Einsteinhaus; seconds to dozens of shops, restaurants and the Bernese night life, but also only 5 minutes to the Aare, or the famous Bear park. There is no elevator. The space * super-central location in the heart of the beautiful Bernese Old Town (“She is the most beautiful we have ever seen", Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wrote about Bern in a letter to his girlfriend) * the bright studio apartment is on the 5th floor of a beautiful historic building and has wood parquet flooring. Besides the living room facing to the North, it has a kitchen facing the inner courtyard. The entire apartment is in a studio layout - i.e., there are no doors except the bathroom door. There is no elevator in the building. * Bedroom: the quiet bedroom upstairs has a regular queen-sized bed (160cm) and another queen-sized mattress on the floor (160cm). Quiet nights are guaranteed (just the bells of the churches in the Old Town might wake you up), and there are roller blinds to darken the room somewhat. * The living room has 3 sofa-bed elements (pull-out), which are 80cm wide each. During daytime, these are used as a sofa. * Kitchen & Bathroom: the kitchen offers an oven, stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, as well as a coffee machine and a water kettle. Moreover, there is a washing-machine / dryer combination for your laundry.
