CLASSIC VT STYLE

This is an authentic VT house tucked between two of the state's most celebrated ski resorts, Stowe and Smuggler's Notch. We are about 30 minutes north of Mount Mansfield with tons of hiking and exploration opportunities. In this area you can enjoy some of the state's most popular outdoor recreational attractions and activities. The space is private and serene and works for all different kinds of local adventures in any season. Come experience a unique part of VT in your own unique VT home! The space The Airbnb is a proper full house for your stay. It is not a cabin, nor a barn, nor is it a tiny house. Some guests have shared that the photos don’t seem to reflect that so please note that this IS a “real” house, ha! The house is spacious and functional with a characteristic VT forest vibe as the backdrop. We share a long circular driveway that tucks us away from the road and our house is your only neighboring house. We have key essentials and all sorts of cookware in the kitchen so plan on any kind of cooking here if that factors into your plans! Stowe, with a variety of popular restaurants, is only about 20 minutes down the road. There is a Price Chopper and a Hannaford only about 3 minutes away and the local Morrisville Food Coop is ideal for prepared foods, local products and speciality items. There is a large backyard with a fire pit where you can hang outside, stargaze or sip some local brews and the horseshoe pit is perfect for a little friendly competition. We always have logs stocked for outdoor fires so you won’t need to cut down any trees in the forest. :) Dogs can run free in the back and we have a circular trail that runs around the perimeter of the property where you can take your furry friends for an easy and lovely forest walk without even leaving the property. We can show you this trail when you are here! There is a carport where you can pull in if the weather is crummy and there is an outdoor grill to enjoy local meats and veggies. There is a 40 inch smart tv to enjoy your favorite shows and the house is equipped with a washer and dryer for your use. There is a bath in the upstairs bathroom and guests definitely enjoy bathing their little ones and/or relaxing after any outdoor adventures. Our kitchen has a dishwasher and the super user-friendly pellet wood stove in the kitchen really sets a cozy mood while making a meal or relaxing in the space. There are lots of big windows that let in the natural light and air and the rooms have a sunny and pleasant vibe. We’ve been told that the cats who come here absolutely love the wide window sills for lounging around. We totally love our classic VT scene up here in Hyde Park. Come check it out for yourself! Guest access Guests check themselves in on their own with the keypad. Our property is peaceful and private and you have access to the surrounding forest and grounds. Billy has created a simple and lovely path circling the property which is perfect for a morning walk or taking your dog off leash. Guests can can enjoy the Airbnb yard and fire pit as they please. We are here to make it welcoming for you! Other things to note We ask that if you are bringing your pet that you also consider bringing sheets and/or blankets to cover the sectional couch and/or a towel to wipe down any wet feet but we also provide these items.
