Taking its name from the Greek for sea, Thalassa delivers views of the Aegean all around yet is sensitively shaded by the mature gardens which offer the privacy that our guests desire. A sister villa of Charisma, yet with an extra bedroom of the first floor, Thalassa is ideal for friends and couples to stay together, or for family groups. With a natural stone terrace which fronts of the property, the villa enjoys a private infinity pool plastered with a characteristic Cimentogonia surface and full-width Roman steps. Access is via the ground floor to a spacious living space and to an open plan kitchen with Corian work surfaces and the latest appliance, where there is also an informal dining area. Structured over two distinct floors, with large windows maximizing the natural light, a free-standing metal staircase leads to the master bedroom anden-suite bathroom with bath. Wall-to-wall windows offer uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea along with the additional feature of a large balcony and outdoor seating space. The first floor guest bedroom is accessible through an outdoor staircase, while the ground floor double/twin bedroom has a separate entrance and opens onto the terrace. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in Spa shower area. A perfect base for trips to the beach, exploring the coastline and inland villages, or heading off for supper at a local tavern, Thalassa is also a fun property for barbeques on the outdoor dining area, accompanied by a selection of the fine Cretan wines we provide from the on-site cellar.
