The space ACCESS: Built on a sloped lot, it's only 2 steps up to the covered entry porch from the driveway. One floor above our vintage gift shop on the street level, you may hear other guests accessing the third-floor above Ridgeview Suite (the Tree Fort Suite). This 2-bedroom suite offers many more amenities than a comparably priced B&B or hotel room in Branford. It's a perfect space for family vacations, corporate and academic professionals who seek fully furnished, inclusive utilities. 1 Queen bed and 2 twin beds provide comfort for up to 4 guests. ENTERTAINMENT: Upgraded internet service offers strong WiFi with streaming on either SmartTVs or FireTV offering access to YouTubeTV, and NetFlix, Amazon Prime and other popular apps. Amazon Alexa is your concierge. Puzzles and games make perfect rainy-day entertainment. Guest access The Ridgeview Suite has a small entry porch via the driveway and gives guests exclusive use of the entire 1,300 square-foot suite. High-ceiling sunroom with wrap-around deck offers more exterior hangout space with door off the kitchen to our gas grill. Motion-activated exterior lighting aids guests arriving after dark. Other things to note The corner property is adjacent to railroad tracks (200' from the house), so you may sense the periodic passage of Amtrak and commuter trains. You can see from our feedback that this has not been a disturbance to guest enjoyment. INTERNET SERVICE: 1-gig fiber optic network services the property. TRAFFIC: Thimble Islands Road is busy in the summer daytime, as it is the main artery through the village: there are lots of sidewalk strollers and dog walkers headed to enjoy the neighborhood's nature trail and Sound views. SECURITY: To promote safe conditions, the driveway is monitored by a motion-activated camera and lighting, as well as noise monitoring device. Rest assured, we respect guest privacy.
