It is just 100m to the slopes and an easy walk to the Village. So you can best experience the Japanese feel, most of our rooms are Japanese Style Tatami rooms with really comfortable futons and we are just 50m from the closest natural hot water onsen, where you can soak at the end of the day. The rooms are spacious making it great for families in particular – the managers have got kids of their own, so it is a very child friendly lodge. Japan in general is an easy and safe place to travel around and getting to Nozawa is very easy with public transport. Just 3 hours from Tokyo. In summer they are also not far away and can give you all the information you need on buses, trains, tours, classes, restaurants, and the best places to eat and explore in the village and on the mountains. They have ski equipment and apparel for hire, organise local, authentic tours, and are now running Yoga retreats in the spring and summer months. All you need to do is get there - in fact they can help with transportation as well. No shoes inside please.
