This unique home is situated on a huge acreage bordering Pike National Forest. Enjoy sunset or sunrise views of Pikes Peak from the large deck while listening to the babbling creek and chirping birds. Prepare your favorite meal on the gas BBQ grill while admiring the tranquil surroundings and abundance of wildlife. A creek runs through the property if you like to fish or pan for gold! Take trails, climb hills, breathe the crisp mountain air, and watch the bright stars at night. The space The house retreat is located 30 miles North-West of CO Springs, ten miles north of Woodland Park. Airbnb doesn't show the correct location: please inquire before booking. It is a 3-bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a living room, and a big deck with a gorgeous view. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with a Stern and Foster upgraded mattress, while the second bedroom has two queen-size beds. The small non-conforming bedroom has a twin-size bed perfect for a child or young adult. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, as well as many other upgrades: a water filtering system (reverse osmosis) and a water softener. The living room has an oversized L-shaped couch and a flat-screen TV. The house has a heated garage with a set of leather furniture, a table for four, an extra double-door refrigerator, and more. Enjoy a stunning view of Pikes Peak from the large deck while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The property is situated on a massive parcel of land on the border with Pike National Forest. There is a babbling creek running through it. You can fish without any license, pan for gold, or enjoy the relaxing sounds of the creek... The property is located in a former mining settlement right across from historic cabins built here during the Colorado Gold Rush for miners and prospectors. There are some other historic towns famous for their landmark railroads, mines, and casinos (check out Cripple Creek and Victor). If you crave city amenities, Woodland Park is about 10 miles away. Please set up the temperature in the house at 62F when you vacate it in the winter. Please do not turn off the heat during the winter months: we don't want the water pipes to freeze.
