Unique self-contained train carriage accommodation providing spacious accommodation for up to four adult guests. Our fifth and sixth generation family farm is located 22 kms west of Temora and is an ideal base from which to explore the Riverina. Relax, unwind and enjoy the private and peaceful surrounds, see the sunrise and sunset, enjoy the star-studded sky and winter campfires, bush walking, birdwatching. The space The carriage has its own private garden and lawn area with outdoor furniture, weber gas BBQ and a firepit (wood provided) The Overlander can accommodate up to four adult guests (a single, one couple, two couples travelling together or two singles with QB and DB compartments. Separate shower room and two toilets. Reverse cycle heating and cooling throughout ensures your comfort in all seasons. Quality linen, towels, bathrobes and toiletries Flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player with DVDs, CDs, glossy magazines, books and board games provided for your entertainment. The user friendly kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, airfryer, sandwich press and a multi-purpose slow cooker/rice cooker, electric frypan, electric skillet, toaster, electric kettle and all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Continental breakfast provisions are provided for each morning of your stay. Plunger or instant coffee, breakfast and herbal teas. Your welcome bag contains local and Riverina visitor information and maps. Guest access The Overlander carriage and the gardens at the front and rear of the carriage are not shared and provide your own private space. A weber gas BBQ and outdoor furniture is located in the front garden. A Mediterranean garden located on the western side of the carriage has a paved dining area, outdoor furniture and a firepit for the winter months. A good supply of wood is provided. Our property is located 22 kms west of Temora and 14 kms east of Ariah Park. For guests wishing to explore the wider Riverina, we are 1-1.5 hours from Wagga Wagga and Griffith and there are many towns along the way to explore. The Quandary Road road and our driveway are gravel, the Overlander has its own driveway and there is ample parking at the carriage. Telstra mobile coverage only. No Wi fi. Other things to note We operate a working mixed farming property running Australian White sheep and we grow cereal and canola crops. We have two working sheepdogs, two clydesdale mares, and also stand a stallion at stud breeding horses for showjumping and dressage. Registration Details Exempt
