It is located in the historical neighborhood of North Talpiot on a quiet cobble stoned street. Enjoy a moment of contemplation sitting on the roof top terrace listening to birds, sipping tea overlooking the Jerusalem peace forest with a view of Temple Mount. The apartment has a Moroccan tea-room, three bedrooms --- each on its own floor for privacy--- (two with queen beds, one with two twin beds) a newly renovated fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms and roof top patio. Has a washer and dryer. Great for a large family or friends travelling together as each bedroom is on a different floor and provides total privacy. There is one parking spot assigned and street parking. This is one of the nicest areas of Jerusalem. And very central to most important sites. There are about 7 stairs between each room/level of the house. Guests will have access to full house. We have a manager available 24/7 accessible via email or cell phone. The Hebron road in ancient times led from Jerusalem all the way to Hebron, home to the Mahpelah, the burial site of the bible Patriarchs. North Talpiot is centrally located, walking distance to downtown Jerusalem and Old City. On the 20 min walk to the OLD CITY via Hebron Road you will pass, the Sacred Heart Monestary, The SULTAN's POOL(outdoor concert venue), The Cinemateque (boutique movie theater), Hutzot Hayotzer (artisan galleries and home to Jerusalem's International Arts and Crafts Festival), and the Dormition Abbey. A 10 minute walk to the GERMAN COLONY you will find cafes and restuarants, the museum of natural history, parks, beautiful buildings and artsy boutiques. Minutes from the apartment are two supermarkets, three 24 hour mini markets, laundry services, 24 hour Urgent Care Clinic, movie theaters, and the famous FIRST STATION - the refurburshied old railroad station that now houses restaurants, boutiques, bike paths, farmers markets, artisan stalls and many cultural events. Some restaurants of the First Station and cinemas are open on shabbat. Many local synagogues are walking distance, as is the Kotel (western wall ) for shabbat, weekday and holiday worship. The free tram to the Old City leaves every 20 minutes from the parking lot of the First Station. It is a 5 minute walk from the apartment to hop on the free tram that runs seasonally leaves to the Wailing Wall entrance. The tram (in the season that it runs) also drops you walking distance to CITY of DAVID archeological site. The apartment is multi-level and has stairs. 10 stairs to reach the entrance door.
