Renovated Japanese retro house with cats | Teshima

A renovated Japanese folk house in Teshima offers a Japanese experience for 1 group of guests per day exclusively. The host and cats stay under the same roof, so you can enjoy the island lifestyle with them. Bedroom size is 6 tatamis + 8 tatamis (approx. 26㎡). Including 1 double bed, 2 futon sets (If it's more than 3 guests), bath towels, face towels, mirror, body creams, wireless charger and artbooks. Guest access Kitchen, living room, dining room, garden are available for guests, but the pantry (storage room) and host's room are not accessible. During your stay Most of the time the host will be in the cafe area, so please feel free to ask anything about Teshima, Setouchi, Artsite and Japanese culture :) Other things to note Although this house is renovated, it is still an old traditional Japanese wooden house and renovation was done partially only, so please kindly expect the condition of the house is not like a 5 star hotel :) Instead, please enjoy soil walls with glitters, brilliant mt. fuji paint and retro tiled floors in the bathroom & toilet which we retain as they are. We have the latest e-cross bike "TB1e" for the guests to rent (1500 yen per e-bike). Please kindly let us know if you are interested.
