This beautiful traditional country welsh cottage is built into the side of a hill and is eco-friendly with the advantage of modern amenities. Located in beautiful tranquil and secluded countryside within the Clwydian Range AONB, we have amazing 360-degree country scenic views . There's no noise or light pollution - you can only hear the birds and the wind in the trees with no roads nearby. On clear nights the stars are amazing. We're ideally located with easy access to local towns and cities. The space 4 bedrooms (2 with king sized beds, 1 with double, 1 with small double). 2 bathrooms both with baths and shower. 1 kitchen with washing machine and range cooker 1 Wooden conservatory 1 dining room 2 living rooms each with a lovely log burning stove and separate televisions Garden and various outside seating areas. Cottage comfortably accommodates 5 in total. Parking on the premises for 2 vehicles (at owners own risk) Other things to note The property is located in the village of Maeshafn at the end of a narrow un-adopted stone lane - so please drive carefully. The Miners Arms pub is on the same lane, approx. 200 metres away. During the winter we occasionally get snowed in – in which case you may need to park in the village and walk the 200 yards. Guest access Private parking is provided at the property for up to 2 cars. The cottage is at the end of a narrow stone lane and whilst it feels remote, it is very easy to access the local towns, cities and facilities, e.g. Mold is 4 miles away and Ruthin is 8 miles away. Chester 20 miles, and the coast road (A55) is 10 mins to reach by car. Maeshafn is an ideal location for both North Wales, Cheshire and Merseyside attractions. Other things to note Accommodates up to 5 with discounts for smaller numbers. The property is semi detached to the owners own property. The owners are on site to help ensure you have a lovely holiday - though you will be free to do your own thing and will have total privacy. Whilst there are four double bedrooms, the property will be more comfortable with 5 people or less. Not suitable for young children and pets.
