Moira is a beautifully restored 1978 vintage caravan. She has been set up for your enjoyment overlooking a fruit orchard and adjacent to a Hydrangea nursery on private property in Mylor in the Adelaide Hills. Do as little or as much as you like during your stay. Relax on the Adirondack chairs with a book and soak up some rays or kick back inside on the super comfortable queen sized bed and watch a DVD. Enjoy a glass of whatever makes you happy while soaking away in the outdoor clawfoot tub. The space Imagine bird song, green surrounds and nature aplenty. Now imagine a beautifully restored caravan that has been decked out to keep you as comfortable as possible for your mini-break. Hire our bikes and head into Mylor for a bite to eat or go further afield and head to Hahndorf and explore it's treasures. You can cook your own meal on the 5 burner BBQ or liaise with your friendly host to arrange a dinner delivery to enjoy on Moira's deck or the dam deck. Feel like spoiling your travel partner? We can set up a massage table on the deck for you to carry out your own massage (additional charge applies and covers towels and massage oil). Breakfast provisions are available. Cereal, milk, tea and coffee are included. The outdoor clawfoot tub is pure indulgence. Soak away in a tub of bubbles and watch the stars overhead. The generous sized outdoor shower and flushing camping toilet will ensure your stay is as glampy as it gets. Our dam deck is an absolute delight to relax on. We want our guests to feel they can disconnect from the world a little and reconnect with their travel partner and natural surrounds. Guest access Walk, cycle or drive. The property is a 10 min walk from the main street of Mylor. To bike ride will take 8 minutes and driving is 3. We have 2 bicycles available for hire and helmets for guest use. $30/day for 2 bicycles. Guests are responsible for their own safety while using the bicycles and must use the security lock provided. Bike theft/damage will result in recovery fees to replace/fix. Bikes are not available for use during Winter. Other things to note We love our vintage van and ask that guests that are seeking to stay be very mindful that she is an older van that requires a gentle hand and respect. Pack lightly. Moira is set up in her own private area on private land. Bookings will be cancelled on extreme weather days (fire, rain and wind) for both guests and Moira's safety. Your host will keep you updated in case you are required to cancel or reschedule. No children are permitted due to open dams. No smoking and no lighting of candles permitted.
