Park on the premises, walk and explore Historic Downtown Flagstaff, the heart of which is just 2 blocks away. Private and separate 1 bedroom apartment (duplex) tucked away off the street. Perfect for 1 person or a couple. Well stocked kitchen. Safe neighborhood, quiet evenings and weekends, a very relaxing space so close to downtown! Note, there is no TV but plenty of reading material to learn about the area and no A/C. I have 3 separate places all next to each other. The space Charming and with character, this one bedroom apartment in a duplex easily accommodates a solo traveler or a couple. Provided is one off-street parking for a small to medium size vehicle. LIVING ROOM has a full size couch, two comfy chairs, gas heater with fireplace window to enjoy the cool nights in comfort and lots of books to read to help you learn about Flagstaff and the surrounding country in which to explore plus games for spending quality time with your companion. The KITCHEN is equipped with a gas stove top with 4 burners (the oven part of the gas stove is not operational at this time), convection countertop oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, a Mr. Coffee coffee maker, electric kettle, quality pots and pans, dishes, glasses for adult beverages, and plenty of things needed for preparation of most meals. A Brita filter also provided for filtered water. I have tried to think of all the basics that I would like to have myself in the kitchen but if there is anything you need, just ask me. Complimentary consumables provided include a variety of teas (black, green and herbal), coffee, sugar, cream, basic spices, hot sauce, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There are many local shops selling a variety of beer and wine within minutes of walking I could direct you to, some are bars so will be open late. Or bring your favorite with you and enjoy in the comfort of this pleasant space! BEDROOM has a new queen bed, closet, extra pillows and blankets, slippers in case you traveled without your own and plenty of hooks and horizontal places to spread out your belongings. BATHROOM has a comfortable sloped backed tub and full size shower, plenty of quality towels and wash rags, variety of hand and hair soaps, body lotion, hair dryer and miscellaneous toiletries should you have forgotten something. FRONT PORCH is private which faces east so enjoyable with your morning coffee or tea and shady in the evenings for a quiet glass of wine. The house is a duplex and I have a wonderful quiet neighbor that lives in the back part of the house completely separate from this space. There is one common wall shared by both units which is the kitchen wall. There is no TV and no air conditioning in the home. Fans provided during the summer months. Guest access I will meet you upon your arrival and take you into the house, give a short orientation of the space and give you keys. In the rare occasion that I will not be able to meet you, I will let you know and make sure you get keys. Interaction with guests I live next door so am readily available for anything, just text or call me otherwise I do respect your privacy. I will be happy to offer local recommendations about where to eat and what to do around Flagstaff and help you plan your visit to the many attractions in the surrounding area to help your stay be more rewarding if you would like. Other things to note Flagstaff can cool down at nights so bring enough covering to be comfortable in the evening hours and do remember we are at 7,000 feet which takes time to adjust to this elevation for some. Be kind to yourself if you feel a bit out of breath, a nice walk downtown and the fresh mountain air will be a big help and real treat, enjoy!
