A third guest may stay on any night but Friday or Saturday for a $150 surcharge. Housekeeping, pool and utility costs included. A dog or two is permitted, but we ask that you place a sheet on the sofa and bed if they are going to sit on either (sheets are provided). Extras include cable, wifi, DirecTV, kayaks (!) and much more. Please note that the Pines is a gay community and the poolhouse is on the ground floor of a property that is enjoyed by gay men. We regret that guests under the age of 18 are not permitted. My partner and I take a half share in the house upstairs, so we will be out 11 weeks over the course of the summer. We're on Shady Walk, which is a 7 minute walk from the harbor. It's quiet; we are one of the few rental properties on this street. Access to the Pines is via the Sayville Ferry. You can get to the Ferry by car or LIRR. Rentals are by the week, Wednesday check-in is at 2PM to Wednesday check-out at 10:30AM to coincide with housekeeping's schedule. Houskeeping arrives at 11AM Wednesday mornings. Please note, they may not be done by 2, but you are welcome to drop off your bags and sit by the pool until the poolhouse is ready
