Skelwith Bridge is the gateway to the majestic Langdale Valley, offering wonderful scenery and low and high-level walking and cycle routes, with all the main peaks and tarns within 5 miles. Ambleside, 2.5 miles away, is a vibrant town with a selection of fine-dining restaurants. The space Pretty as a picture, this mid terraced, stone built cottage provides a quality and comfortable re-treat for a smaller family or two couples. From the rear, step into the traditional, farmhouse kitchen complete with Belfast sink and good range of units and appliances wrapped in cool granite making self catering a joy and not a chore. Through to the very comfortable lounge dining room where you can curl up on deep cushioned sofas in front of the woodburning stove while taking in a movie or your favourite TV programme. The lounge provides a superb view of the enclosed garden and river beyond. On the first floor are two good bedrooms, one double to the front with en-suite shower, hand-basin and WC, the other an excellent kingsize to the rear of the cottage with garden and river views. A modern, house bathroom has a shower over a corner bath, perfect for relaxing soak after a full day on the fells, handbasin, WC and heated towel rail.
