Nestled in the country, 20 miles north of downtown Santa Fe in the historic village of Nambe, this home is ideally situated for excursions to the many beautiful sites Northern New Mexico has to offer. Make Casa Encantada your base camp as you explore Santa Fe and beyond, then come home to a unique and comforting retreat. The space Casa Encantada is an historic adobe home built in the early 1900s. All floors are clay tile or brick with area rugs. The house is welcoming and has rustic Santa Fe traditional adobe charm. The cozy kitchen is central to the home and it neatly separates 2 living areas with 2 bedrooms in each. A great layout for 2 families traveling together, each family can have their own living space with a shared kitchen. Wood ceilings give character and warmth. 2,300 square feet of authentic, northern New Mexico charm! Internet Access and Roku Smart TV make it easy to access your Netflix account or view any of the free streaming channels available through Roku. A second smart TV is located in bedroom 4 with 2 twin beds, ideal for giving kids their own space and entertainment. Guest access Guests are welcome to access any of the indoor and outdoor spaces on the property. There is a covered parking spot for one vehicle and a spot right next to the carport for another. There are two patio areas with tables and chairs for guests to use while enjoying some time outside. The separate building with the white pitched roof is my studio and I may be in and out of that building during your stay. If you see me there, please say hello! The swing set in the back yard is sadly too small to be used by my son, but your little ones are welcome to use it only with your supervision! Other things to note We have always made sanitation a priority in our home! Now with COVID-19 concerns, we are going the extra mile in ensuring that the home is sanitized between guests. We now have a full day in between bookings, so you will checkin more than 26 hours after the previous guests have departed. We feel this extra day in between guests helps minimize airborne contaminants. Also please note that the base nightly price is for 2 guests only. If there are more than 2 guests in your party, the nightly price will be adjusted accordingly at a cost of $20 per guest per night. Please make your booking for the actual number of guests that will be staying in the home. If the number of guests in the home does not match the number on your reservation, it will be edited for the extra charge.
