You are on the windsurfing, kite, sand yachting and paddle spots of Leucate-La Franqui, renowned for the Mondial du Vent, opening the season in April. All water sports, diving and fishing are nearby. As a family, you can explore the Natural Parks and lagoon areas of Narbonnaise; the Cathar castles and trails; the African Reserve of Sigean; the Château de Salses, the village of Leucate and the remains of its castle; a beautiful heritage of Romanesque churches; picturesque local markets... not to mention the oyster farmers, to taste oysters and seafood platters on site or to take away, accompanied by a good Fitou wine!
