Cozy Queen Bedroom for 2

Located just 8 minutes away from Snowbird/Alta this is a skiers dream! During the summer and fall months, we have world class rock climbing all around us, as well as hiking and biking trails for beginners to advanced bikers. The space Private room for rent in Sandy, Utah located just 5.5 miles from Snowbird and 7 miles from Alta. Located just half a mile up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Beautiful surroundings in a very quaint area. We are up the canyon so that means tall and beautiful mountains in the front and backyard. This is as close to the ski resorts as you can get without actually staying at the resort and paying resort prices. On pow days there is usually a long line that stretches for about a mile but when you stay at our house, leaving in the morning is great because you can pull out in the front of the line to get up the canyon! NO TRAFFIC! You get to sleep in AND no waiting, its great! Very quiet location. Includes access to two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. You are welcome to cook and use the pots, pans and dishes any time. We have two fridges with plenty of space. We live in the home, so it is family style. Free parking right in front of the house. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT OUR GUESTS HAVE A CAR. It is possible to stay here and use Uber but you usually end up paying the same amount for much less freedom. We also recommend 4X4 if you are staying during the winter. You never know when it will snow and how much. The home has four bedrooms total. We rent three of them. This room has a queen-size bed. There are grocery stores about 5-10 minutes down the road. Smith’s is the closest. The new wifi works great, with speeds upwards of 50 mbps! Location is a skier’s dream, but you don't need to ski to stay here. Often guests ask if they need a car with 4-wheel drive or chains. It really depends on the snow conditions. Most of our guests have 4-wheel drive, as they know they will be driving up the canyon. However our road is always plowed and we rarely have anyone get stuck. We own a car that doesn’t have 4-wheel drive and it gets by just fine. Jan-March are the snowiest months. We don’t own any pets and don’t allow any pets. Sorry to all the animal lovers. We technically live in a watershed area so pets aren’t allowed. If this room is not available for the dates you would like, then please check the other two rooms we rent from the same location! The room for which you submit the reservation request is the room that we will be able to approve. Airbnb doesn't give us an option to switch you. So please make sure you send the request for the right room. :) This is for the room with the queen bed. We also don't mind what time you arrive. We understand that often planes land late. If we go to bed then we will leave the door open for you! Once you book, we will email you the best directions to the house. (website hidden) maps and apple maps don’t do a very good job at getting you here. Don't hesitate to ask questions! We want your stay to be perfect! Please let us know what we can do! During your stay We live in the home, so you'll probably see us. We let you do your own thing, as we do ours. We're happy to make suggestions but it's your vacation and we try to lay low unless you ask. Also be sure to include the arrival time that way we can work with your schedule.
