Charming 2/2 beach house in a coveted neighborhood in the Lakes section of Hollywood, a mile from beach. Private home with its own entrance. There is an open floor plan with central a/c. Our home has high speed internet, cable television. The fenced-in tropical brick patio has a grill, outdoor furniture and a hammock for relaxing. Bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas are available. For the comfort of all guests, we have a strict NO smoking, NO outdoor partying and No dog policy. The space This cute home is located in historic Hollywood in a lovely neighborhood. Melinda and Bud (the owners) live three houses away and can usually respond quickly to any questions or concerns you may have. It has been updated to all modern conveniences. Kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need. The master b.r. has a walk-in closet. A/C is brand new. Washer and dryer (new) are conveniently located in the garage. Keypad entry to both the house and the garage. The home is close to everything South Florida has to offer. 15 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport. One mile to the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk: by foot, bicycles (4 available), $1.00 pp « Circuit » rides with pick-up and drop-offs within downtown Hollywood and the beach area, or Uber. By car, there are parking garages that charge $3.00/ hour. Along with the bicycles, we supply beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, soft cooler and beach bags. Downtown Hollywood restaurants and bars, Walgreens and Publix are 3 blocks away. Easy walk. 2 public golf courses in the neighborhood. Public tennis courts and several children's playgrounds in neighborhood. Other places of interest nearby include: Gulfstream Park with horse racing, casino, shops and restaurants (2 miles), Aventura Mall packed with designer shops (15minutes), Seminole Hard Rock Casino 15 minutes, huge Sawgrass Outlet Mall (30 minutes). South Beach, Bayside Marketplace and much more within a 30--40 minute drive. We live nearby and will be available and happy to give additional suggestions. Guest access The entire house will be yours. Alarm system and exterior lighting. Automatic gate entrance in rear or street parking in front of house.. *There is sleeping for 4 people only, per new City of Hollywood ordinance. ( 2 people per private bedroom). Other things to note The house has all-new impact windows. New kitchen appliances. New washer and dryer, and new central a/c. Black-out shades in the bedrooms, and automatic shades in the living area. Again, high-speed internet ( 315 Mps) with ample room for a desktop area for a workspace. Open, spacious living area with 60 inch TV. Large flat-screen TV In master bedroom also. Private, fenced in brick patio for lounging, grilling and relaxing. The outdoors is an oasis with tropical landscaping. For security, there are outdoor security cameras, as well as a “Ring” doorbell. No indoor cameras. Since COVID, we are practicing all CDC recommended cleaning and sanitizing practices.
