Cozy PENTHOUSE in the center of SORT

Welcome to Sort! We offer you a bright penthouse located in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in the Pyrenees of Lleida (Lérida). The penthouse apartment is very cozy and you can enjoy relaxing after your excursions, walks or skiing. The space It is on the 4th floor (no elevator) and has 2 bedrooms (one double with a double bed - we renewed the mattress on 10/23/14) and a triple (with three single beds). The sofas are suitable for the active visitor profile, who uses it as a resting point after days of trekking and/or skiing, but not so much for the visitor profile who likes to spend many hours on the sofa. The apartment has heating and air conditioning (the latter installed in August '16), a 32" TV, free WIFI, a newly renovated kitchen with an outdoor gallery (washing machine & clothesline), a bathroom with a full bathtub (it is not new but everything works properly). Although the apartment has a fireplace, it is not possible to use it very much despite our express prohibition of community regulations. In our absence, check-in is done by our friend and neighbor Victor (or his wife Violeta) and they are also available to help you in case there are any problems during your stay. Upon arrival you will find: - Sheets, duvets and towels for each guest - Cookware (glasses, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, coffee maker) - Basic cooking ingredients (salt, oil, vinegar, sugar...) - Shower gel and hairdryer in the sink. The apartment, located on the main street, has all kinds of shops (supermarkets, fruit shops, bakeries, butcher shops, newspapers, pharmacy, etc.) on the street. We recommend this apartment to families with children, couples or a group of friends who want to relax and enjoy nature without giving up the comforts and services offered by the village. Sort is the capital of Pallars Sobirà, the region of Catalonia with the most protected territory, distributed between the Aigüestortes National Park and the Upper Pyrenees Natural Park, the largest in Catalonia. Adventure sports practiced in the area include rafting, hydrospeed, canoeing, canyoning, climbing, mountaineering, horse riding, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, mountain skiing, horseback riding, soccer, Nordic walking, etc. Fishing deserves a special mention, for which there are 40 km of river with one of the best stretches of fishing without death in Catalonia. The municipality of Sort, at 2,189 m. of elevation and with most of the routes below 1,500 m (which makes them accessible practically all year round), is also a paradise for hiking with routes that run through a rural world full of life. In winter, sky and snowboard lovers can enjoy the slopes of Port Ainè, Tavascan and Espot in the area. Enjoy your vacation in Sort! .
