Dogs are welcome-the park is very dog friendly. Many bicyclists and walkers/runners frequent the park which includes a newly expanded children's playground and picnic shelter. Additional space is available at our residence for storing luggage etc. Private entry with key. Security lighting at entry. Street parking is plentiful-no reserved space. We are always happy to greet guests and to assist in finding restaurants and other entertainment nearby. We are close to the Plaza and to the new Roasterie cafe and restaurants at Woodside as well as KC Joe's barbcue is just a few blocks west across State Line. KU Med Center is just a few blocks north on Rainbow Boulevard. We don't live in Kansas but don't mind seeing it from our front door. We have a one year old dog who is quiet and cautiously friendly. Exceptional beautiful older neighborhood with many mature trees and historic single family homes. Recently the neighborhood next door has experienced a boom of construction of new contemporary homes. The KC bus system and most main lines (Max) are available on the Country Club Plaza. About a six block walk away along Ward Parkway and Brush Creek. We are on the KCMO bike path system and the park-Westwood Park-has a ½ mile path for walking or biking.
