Unique backpacker accommodation for alternative travellers! Stay in our tiny (2mx2m) tree house, overlooking the hills of Akatarawa... It's warm and cozy with a heater and electric blanket for a warm bed. You'll have access to a separate guest lounge, bathroom and kitchenette in the adjacent house to spread out in. Free WiFi and power in the hut, an outdoor bath below & a steam sauna (shared, extra charge). Come and unwind! The space Dreamt of living in a tree hut as a child? - Come and stay in ours! It's SMALL (only 2m by 2m - take note if you're very tall!) but cozy and quirky and our guests have described it as a 'nest in the trees'. You will have additional space to hang out in the separate guest lounge with kitchenette in the main house, right next door (separate guest entrance). Treehut only sleeps 2, but if you're travelling with additional guests, there's a sofa bed in the lounge you can add to your booking (please enquire). Sleep inside, have your ensuite and have the kids stay in the hut. Fun times!! If you're expecting modern style white wall fancy luxury accommodation, this is NOT for you - our place is very real, friendly, full of life and somewhat 'bohemian'. You'll hear the wind and the birds and wake up to views of the hills! There's power and internet in the hut if you want to work on your travel blog - and a firebath beside it. The tree hut is on a lifestyle block - great for children (but keep supervised)! We have a border collie on the property so if dogs are not your thing at all this may not be for you. Guest access You have access to amenities in the main house directly next to the treehut, and of course there is a bathroom, kitchenette and a separate guest lounge to hang out in! Guest area has a separate entrance so you can keep to yourself if you wish - we're right next door though, should you need anything! The firebath outside is free to use anytime and you can book the sauna for a private session ($25 surcharge). Please let us know what time you'd like it for and we'll get it ready.
