The Cottage for Two
Description
The Cottage was built in the late 1930's for a local church and was used as a Sunday school room, for receptions, etc.. In 2004 we relocated the Hut, as it was once called, to this site and restored it to it's existing condition, staying with it's late 30's roots. It and main house sets on 5 beautifully landscaped acres and is located only 7 minutes from historic downtown Summerville. Please note that this is NOT INTENDED AS A VENUE and is a SHARED POOL, not exclusive to the pool house guest. The space As you enter the driveway, that is lined with Live Oak’s and crêpe myrtles, you’ll notice the main dwelling to your left which was also built in the late 30s and moved here by the owner in 1984. Just behind the main dwelling you will find the garden covered arch way leading you to the private entrance of the SHARED POOL area and cottage. The pool house looks as it would have back in the late 30s, with its white oak flooring and authentic trim work through out, and only complements the modern amenities like the 60” flat screen with surround sound and up dated appliances. As you stroll around the grounds of the main house and cottage you will notice that the property is full of old growth azaleas and camellias that make up the different garden areas. Our guest are welcome to explore the entire grounds. Guest access Walks around our 5 acres and the SHARED POOL. Other things to note The cottage is NOT A VENUE, it is limited to our cottage guest (MAXIMUM OF TWO) only. Also, it is a SHARED POOL, used only by my family and cottage guest. Also, NO Smoking in the house or on the property, NO pets, NO parties and NO unauthorized guest.
