Home in Long Beach

This is a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood, central to everything LA and OC have to offer. Wide tree-lined streets, plenty of parking. Less than 10 minutes from the beach, Long Beach Airport (LGB), Downtown Long Beach, and the Queen Mary. Just 20 minutes from LAX, 25 from Downtown LA, and within 30 of anything you would ever want to see in Los Angeles or Orange County, from Newport to Santa Monica. Throw in a Metro train station within walking distance, to boot! Note: Must love dogs! The space This is a beautiful 3000 sq foot house on a 7000 sq foot lot, built in 2012, and you're in the home's Master Suite! It's a super luxurious private space, featuring a Champagne Massage clawfoot tub, dual copper sink vanity, and a custom rainshower. The bedroom is private, but at any given moment the house has several permanent tenants, plus myself, plus at least 2 dogs, so you must be comfortable with an active environment. Guest access Shared kitchen access is included, plus free washer and dryer use in the dedicated laundry room, and daily coffee and espresso from the dining room coffee bar. Help yourself to a bowl of cereal every morning, and feel free to use our milk, seasonings, condiments, etc. Please do NOT drink the liquor unless we're drinking it together! :) Feel free to access the rooftop deck from the outside staircase, and utilize the fire pit in the backyard, as well. There are also a row machine and a power tower out back if you feel like working on your bod! During your stay I may or may not be in town! If I am, I work from home, which means I could be around to help you with planning out your trip, finding places to eat, etc. If you have an interest in that, I'm happy to assist. The bedroom space is yours and yours alone if you prefer to do your own thing. There are several other residents here, so there may be a bit of noise from time to time (conversation / music / playing with the dogs), but they are all very kind young people. Other things to note There is no access to the full closet, but lots of dresser drawers, hooks, and a small hanging bar for your formal items. Also, there are dogs in the house, so you must love them! They shed quite a bit, and can "seem" scary, so if you aren't a pet person, this is not the spot for you! The tenants may also be going about their lives on a different schedule than you, which means they may be playing music, having conversation, using the kitchen, etc. We do our best to stay on top of the cleaning, but it's an ongoing battle, so you need to be comfortable with dog hair, dust, or some dirty dishes in the kitchen.
