Bed and breakfast in Trenear

We are thrilled to offer as a new listing our 2nd lovely new room with glorious views. It has a king size bed and a brand new en-suite with a spacious walk in shower, as well as tea and coffee facilities. A delicious breakfast will be cooked for you each morning, and served in our cozy dining room. Guests from both rooms have the use of a private lounge with woodburner and TV. We are situated down a quiet road on 4 acres of farmland, near Helston, Porthleven and many attractions on the Lizard. The space The property is a smallholding that we are lovingly renovating, we promise no building noise while you are here! The house dates back to at least the early 1800's, and is probably older. It is quirky and has been neglected but is full of interesting features (and some fascinating history). We are situated amongst some stunning country scenery and have four acres of fields, woods and even a pond for you to explore. The chickens and ducks are friendly (and productive!), we also have some lovely Tamworth pigs. By June we will also have been joined by two Golden Guernsey goats who will provide milk and ultimately cheese - assuming we ever master it! Guests have their own entrance and staircase that leads up to two bedrooms. There is a small fridge in a cupboard on the landing where there is always fresh milk and cold water available, as well as being somewhere to chill your own food. If you need an extra mattress for a child, we are happy to put one in but will make a small charge to cover breakfast. There is no charge for babies, and we have a camp cot and highchair available. We can cater for any food requirements with notice, and look forward to meeting you! Guest access Guests have their own lounge and use of our dining room, tea and coffee making facilities are in the bedroom (with fresh milk). Sorry, no access to the kitchen, but we have many options for an evening meal close by. There are two pubs in nearby villages with excellent food, and the charming town of Helston itself is only 3 miles away. We are happy to help with lifts if we can!
