We are 5 km from Sansepolcro at the foot of the Alpe della Luna nature reserve. The Il Vaccaio apartment consists of 2 bright double bedrooms (possibility of adding a single bed) and bedroom with two single beds on the mezzanine. 2 private bathrooms with shower, wooden kitchen complete with all appliances and living room with fireplace and double sofa bed. reserved for guests access to the panoramic pool with whirlpool. The apartment has an independent entrance and a private garden. The space The apartment " La Cantina" is part of Il Castiglione Agriturismo Bio consisting of 5 apartments and 3 private rooms. Farm that covers more than 100 hectares where we grow olive trees for the production of our organic oil. Typical stone structure of the Tuscan farmhouse, Il Castiglione was founded as a farmhouse in the late 1800s and for many years has hosted numerous families of farmers who lived on the sole labour of the land and livestock farming. At the most panoramic point of the property is our beautiful swimming pool of 12x6 m with Jacuzzi and solarium, immersed in the green park surrounding the apartments. Finally Barbecue and 2 wood-burning ovens are always available, so pizza and grills will not be missing. Even if it is not included in the price of the overnight stay, we have a restaurant where you can taste the typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition, with some Venetian revisions. Inside our property we have restored a path that retraces the surrounding woods, also suitable for the less experienced, where sighting some animals will not be difficult. In summer swimming in the river is the tradition of more or less young people in the area and a few hundred meters from the Castiglione Bio there is, among others, the famous Gorgo del Ciliegio, a natural pool in the woods that we recommend everyone go! In collaboration with a team of local guides we can organize hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding excursions for our guests. But also bird watching and fishing at Lake Montedoglio. As you can well guess the animals are welcome!
