The cabin rests deep into the resort providing you seclusion but incredibly close to some of the best national parks Western MD has to offer. Bear Creek Cabin features a fire pit, large porch, TV(dvds only - over 100 available), beautuful brand new hot tub spa, two bedrooms, loft and one bath. Perfect to bring the entire family, a group of hunters, couples retreat, or a romantic getaway. Can accomodate more with children but limit is Seven adults. The cabin can sleep up to ten. Please Note: *In the winter months, it is essential to have 4x4 to access property. This area gets an extensive amount of snow and there are some steep hills in hoa. There are also winter check out instructions, please ensure heat is left on & one faucet is at a slow leak to prevent freezing pipes. There is no WiFi and don't intend to change anytime soon. This cabin is designed to be a retreat and get out of the day to day rat race and enjoy a quality time relaxing weekend with no work or social media. There are coffee shops/breweries within 20-25 minutes which have free Wifi if absolutely necessary. The other item to note is this is a cabin in the middle of the woods with no occupancy during the week. As it gets colder during the winter months, you may see some mice and potential droppings. As we do our best to prevent this it is nearly impossible to completely eliminate considering the location/climate. Know they are harmless and by no means an indication of cleanliness simply a result of being immersed in nature and providing a warm outlet. Guest access Guests are welcome to use anything on the property outside of the garage. Other things to note Upon arrival, find my name in the directory "Matt Heishman". This will call my phone so I can let you in remotely. On the front porch the keys will be left in a drop box which I will provide the code for upon reservation. There will be a key fab to further access gate entry on the key chain so the will be no need to call. Hot tub usage instructions: Please see welcome instructions for use *Rinse off/shower before entering hot tub. When finished using hot tub, immediately after please make sure to add one capful of chlorine to the unit. This should be done each time the hot tub is used (or after a day's use). There is a bottle of chlorine in the closet under the stairs. The lights for the hot tub are outside, under a light switch cover, lift cover to access switch. Also please ensure that noise levels after 11:00PM should be kept to a minimum as courtesy to our neighbors - noise travels through the woods easily. This makes for a better hot tub experience for you, future guests, and for our maintenance team. Thank you!
