Windrush

Windrush is a gorgeous court-yard house, with wonderful river views from the moment you enter. Two of the bedrooms open onto the courtyard giving families and guests, each their own private space. The third main bedroom is on the upper floor overlooking the river. The kitchen and living spaces likewise overlook the river - which is magnificent and peaceful. The evenings are golden and nothing beats an early morning jaunt down to the water... The house also has canal access and a mooring. The space Windrush is a hidden gem of a house.. Unassuming from its street view, you enter into a gorgeous court-yard with an axial view of the river. There are three main double bedrooms - two of which have smaller annex rooms for children, and there is a large bunk room for teenagers and older kids who don't need to be so close to their parents. The house is designed to give friends and families all the benefits of holidaying together without being on top of each other and is beautifully unified around the central courtyard. The "master" bedroom is in the main house above the kitchen and lounge and has incredible river views with an ensuite bathroom and an annex type bedroom for children. The two other main bedrooms lead directly off the courtyard and each have an ensuite bathroom - with one of them having a second bedroom for children. All of the bathrooms have both a bath and shower. Then there is there is the large studio style bunk room which also has an ensuite bathroom and a shower only. There is an outside shower for post beach excursions and a double garage / games room with pool and ping-pong tables. We have a simple weber and skottle for golden sunset braais. Guest access whole house Other things to note We are right on the river with canal access to the rear. We have a boat mooring which is on the canals and which you would be welcome to use.
