A large fully equipped eat in kitchen has French door access to a large deck with BBQ and outdoor seating as well as everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. Double oven, large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig and drip coffee makers, blender, pots and pans and almost anything else you can think of are provided. Curl up and watch cable TV or Netflix next to the gas fireplace in the cozy main level family room. Sit down dinners are family affairs in the formal dining room. Enjoy a book and glass of wine or socialize in the comfortable formal living room. The mudroom entry to the attached two car garage includes washer and dryer for your convenience. Half bath on main level. Upstairs you will find a loft office area, master suite with king size bed and private bathroom with stand up shower and separate soaker tub as well as two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom. The basement is fully finished with a second television with Netflix, XBox 360 and Xbox One. It is a great place for the kids and adults alike to hang out! Enjoy the electronic dart board or curl up and watch a movie. A third full bathroom is in the basement. Board games and a small number of children's toys can be found in the basement closet. A double air mattress is available for extra sleeping space if desired and the sofas in the basement and main level family room are comfortable and can also serve as beds. There is a playground within two blocks and easily walked to, no need to cross major streets to get there. Historic downtown Monument is also walking distance via the Santa Fe Trail. There are plenty of grocery stores, Walmart, restaurants, coffee shops and other shopping opportunities within a ten minute drive. The local YMCA, complete with indoor pool, is a quick jaunt across the highway. Easy access to I25 makes sightseeing and local travel easy and convenient. The USAFA North Entrance is only minutes away. Colorado Springs and Castle Rock (great outlet shops!) are only 15-20 minutes away. Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak are 25-30 min away. One hour from Denver International Airport or downtown Denver. 90 minutes to Boulder. In the winter, door to door time to World Class skiing resorts such as Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, Winter Park, and Copper Mountain is 2 to 2.5 hours. Plenty of hiking trails and recreational areas are nearby. Guest access You have private access to the entire home. Please love it the way we do. If you need drawer or closet space, please let me know ahead of time so that I can make it available for you. If you wish to bring your pet, please contact me for approval prior to booking. No pets without approval. Additional cleaning fees may apply to guests bringing pets, rates to be negotiated prior to booking confirmation. If you wish to have the air mattress set up and ready for you upon arrival please send me a message and let me know. Same goes for bedding for sofas if desired.
