And 15-25 mins. to unique art experiences, culture & shopping in Chatham, West Stockbridge, Great Barrington & Hudson. The space The house has 2 levels. The main floor is open concept layout with a wall of windows that look out to a large deck, featuring mountain and brook views. 2 upstairs bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Hardwood floors throughout upper level. Then entrance and cedar lined mudroom is located on the lower level, along with a large finished private suite. The suite boasts it's own comfy sitting area, a separate easy-on gas fireplace, a comfy queen bed, full private bath and a walkout patio to the fire pit area. Guest will have access to all the above areas, a utility room with a washer and dryer and 38 acres of gardens and woods. There's a well groomed trail that loops around the property and crossed the brook twice. As well as, two fire pit areas (one by the house and one by the brook), a hammock, a wood burning hot tub and two picnic table areas to enjoy an outdoor meal. Guest access You can access all parts of the house excluding an art studio sunroom on the upper level and a couple closets on the lower level (that we use for personal storage). There's also another creative studio, detached from the house, in a separate building that you will not have access to. Thank you for understanding. Otherwise, enjoy all 38 acres! Other things to note An optional add on for 1-2 extra guests is The Lookout Loft, a studio apartment above the detached creative studio that has several skylights, a kitchenette, private bath, queen bed, gas fireplace and its own private balcony.
