Home Away from Home at Lulworth is nestled in the coastline between Georgetown and Bridport on the North coast of Tasmania. A short 30 minute drive to Georgetown or Bridport where all supplies can be found as well as restaurants, Hotels etc. Pick up some supplies and prepare something special for yourself in the well-equipped kitchen. Relax on the deck with a local wine and enjoy the sunset or maybe enjoy a Netflix movie or something from YouTube on the smart TV. With 2 bedrooms, the home sleeps 6 guests . Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, Bedroom 2 has 2 Bunk beds. A porta-cot and high chair is available on request for a baby. Quality linen and towels are supplied. There is 1 bathroom and a separate toilet. The local Tam O’Shanter golf course is a popular venue for both locals and visitors. Regular competition days are Wednesday and Saturday. Counter meals are served every Friday night between 6.00pm and 8.00pm. Bookings are advisable for groups. A short drive to magnificent wineries – Clover Hill, Jansz, The Bay of Fires Winery, Sinapius, Delamere, and Pipers Brook. 40 minutes to the renowned Barnbougle and Lost Farm Golf Courses and their eateries. Just over an hour to the Derby mountain bike track. 45 minutes to Launceston and Scottsdale. 35 minutes to the Low Head Penguin Tours. Tam O'Shanter Bay is just a one minute walk to a lovely stretch of sand perfect for a leisurely stroll, cool off in the water or just sit and read a book in the sunshine.
