Description
The Fabroni Residence is a charming period residence located in the historic centre of Montepulciano, on the second floor of the historic 17th-century Palazzo Venturi, which does not have a lift. The house, arranged on 2 levels, can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people and consists of 3 suites with en-suite bathroom: Green, Blue and Red Suite. Guests can enjoy 2 lounges, a living room, a dining room and a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views. The space The residence offers two unique suites, each with its own distinctive charm and history. The Green Suite, located along the main street of the village, consists of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a private bathroom with shower cubicle. This suite has undergone significant changes compared to its original version, transforming itself from the medical studio of Dr Fabroni, who graduated in medicine and surgery in the 1920s, into a cosy living area. The Blu Suite, the most spacious in the residence, boasts a double bedroom overlooking the Valdichiana and the Tuscan hills, and a twin bedroom overlooking the Corso di Montepulciano. This room was originally the bedroom of Mr and Mrs Fabroni, enriched with period suitcases and hatboxes and authentic furniture with an Art Nouveau dressing table, which give an exclusive and historical touch to the suite. Guest access The dining room, in seventeenth-century style, offers a large welcoming table where you can enjoy your breakfast every morning while admiring the wonderful view from its window. The living room is the ideal place to relax and fully enjoy the tranquillity of the house while sipping a good glass of red wine: elegant and comfortable sofas are surrounded by a charming decorated fireplace, antique furnishings, decorations, frescoes and paintings ranging from the 17th to the 19th century. It overlooks the main street of Montepulciano, the hub and beating heart of the village, with its typical shops and small businesses, a place of passage for locals and tourists. The Napoleonic living room, a charming room in the house, is dedicated to the great leader Napoleon Bonaparte. The head of the family, Mr Fabroni, who has always been passionate about history and especially about this great historical figure, had embellished the walls with paintings and paintings that retrace his exploits and battles and that all our guests can still admire today. Upstairs is one of the most evocative corners of the house: a small living room with a fireplace wrapped in an intimate atmosphere where you can take refuge at the end of the day. The terrace, located on the top floor of the building, overlooks the entire town and the surrounding hills. It is undoubtedly our added value, one of the best places in all of Montepulciano to admire the infinite beauty of our entire valley while sipping an aperitif, as well as the ideal place to admire the stars at night. During your stay Natalia and David, the hosts, have always been fascinated by Tuscany and driven by the desire to convey their love for their land, and will be happy to welcome you to Residenza Fabroni. Their knowledge and experience will be at your complete disposal to help make your holiday unforgettable. Each stay will be customised to your specific needs. Other things to note A stay in Montepulciano cannot be said to be complete without having tasted its typical dishes: Pici, cut and Florentine watered by an extraordinary Nobile di Montepulciano wine.
