Old Coaching Inn Rural Gite "The Barn" Sleeps 10

A light & airy house, "The Barn" has lots of charm and character, a blend of original features & a modern clean feel. The BARN is in a quiet cul de sac in the small town of St Leger Bridereix in Rural North Creuse. If you want to get away from the hustel & bustle of modern life this is the place for you. Sit in the garden, take a stroll down the country lanes, or visit one of the many local lakes and get away from it all. The space Originally a coaching inn, this house boasts lots of original features and charm, whilst still having a modern feel. Deceptively large, it can sleep up to 10 people whilst still maintaining personal space and privacy. The first floor has 2 bedrooms - a large triple bedroom, and a double bedroom. Both bedrooms have windows overlooking the large private back garden. The huge attic room with its exposed oak framework is split in to 2 sections - the main section has 2 single beds and a double bed. A second smaller section has a double bed and can be screened off for privacy. This makes a fantastic "kids room" or equally excellent for a family to share. We also have a single fold out bed, and baby cot. The open plan living room has two large sofas and armchairs, plus a large dining table to sit 10. It also has a large impressive fireplace with a wood burning insert, plus large glass doors letting in lots of light and giving access to the large back garden. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials - gas cooker, microwave, kettle, pots, pans, cuttlery, etc. There are full 2 bathrooms in the house, the downstairs one has a shower, and the upstairs one has a bath [with a shower attachment]. The house has a large garden with a gravelled area by the house with tables and chairs, and a large grassed area. Perfect for relaxing, dining, sunbathing, outdoor games & stargazing!! Babys, Infants & young children: We have a selection of baby beds/ cribs & high chairs available if required [these are moved between our gites as required, so please let us know your requirements!] Kitchen - There is plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Bathroom - child seat to go on the toilet seat Guest access You have access to all of the house and all of the garden. There are no shared spaces. Other things to note Please be aware that my neighbours have chickens, cockerel , and other birds, so there will be some noise from these.
