The space This is our family holiday house located in the centre of Moretonhampstead which we are now listing on Airbnb for others to enjoy when we are not using it ourselves. It is a mid-terrace light and comfortable two bed property which has two spacious bedrooms; one with a double and one with two single beds. All recently refurnished and decorated with gas central heating which keeps the house warm in winter and provides a powerful hot shower. Relaxing and cosy lounge with TV fitted with chromecast and DVD player. Property has fast broadband (with 40mbps download) , separate dining room which is linked into a fully equipped kitchen with oven, gas hobs, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine and combined dryer. The house is equipped with all you should need for a comfortable and safe stay. We have a travel cot and high chair along with kids cutlery should you be a young family and needing to save on car space. House also has stair gates which can be fitted to doorways to help keep them safe however due to the layout can’t be fitted to the stairs directly. Small courtyard garden to enjoy the afternoon sun and sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Guest access Although no parking is linked to the property the public car park is a c.30m down the road (Station Road Carpark). You can buy a permit for the week for £30.20 or daily for £4. Best to download the Ringo app and use codes 7732 for up to 2 days or 7734 for a 7 day pass. There are free spaces around Moretonhampstead too along with other car parks and bays with varying charges and time constraints. Other things to note Moretonhampstead is well situated for exploring Dartmoor either by car, foot or bicycle. The town offers a selection of great places to eat and drink including restaurants, pubs along with cafes, independent shops, heated outside pool, arts centre and nearby attractions. It also has a fantastic green grocer and butchers as well as a well stocked co-op for all your everyday needs. Throughout the year there are often events going on to enjoy. We are child and dog friendly although as it only has a small courtyard it might not be suitable for all dogs. No cats or other pets unless on request. The windows have child safety catches to prevent any risk of them being opened fully without adult supervision.
