Cooinda Cottage is set on the historical Cooinda homestead site first established in 1876 by Sir Frederick McCoy. He named it “Cooinda” an aboriginal name for a “place of happy meetings”The property is located on the golden mile just past the township of Mt Macedon and nearby to Hanging Rock. It is surrounded by botanical parkland gardens, with the sounds of birds and wildlife with nature at its best amongst this private secluded haven, with some of the oldest and largest trees in Mt Macedon. The space Ornate cottage built from 100 year old recycled timber in the 1960's looking over the forest. Located on the 150 year old historic and prestigious Cooinda property.
