Cabin in Smallwood

Rustic interior with wood stove and over an acre of woods to enjoy, you can get lost in the peacefulness of Smallwood right in your own backyard. 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, this cabin sleeps 4. Enjoy the private deck, fire pits, hammock, grill & wildlife. There is no access to the nearest Lake or beach but Lake Superior, Toronto Res, Swinging Bridge, are all close. Bethel Woods-original site of WOODSTOCK is 3 miles away! The space PEACEFUL & RUSTIC CABIN IN THE WOODS! Birmwood offers 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. This cabin comfortably sleeps 4. Enjoy the privacy of the screened-in deck or outside open deck, large yard with fire pits, a hammock, a grill and wildlife. Air conditioning in every room. For your convenience, there is a Citgo, Dunkin Donuts and a Dollar General a mile away, and in Monticello - Walmart, Aldi's and ShopRite about 10 miles away. ***There is no access to Smallwood’s private Lake and beach- Mountains Lake, but, there are many nearby lakes to explore.that we love and our guests love too! White Lake offers a free public boat launch for your personal watercraft. Toronto Reservoir is nearby where swimming, fishing and boating is free. Lake Superior state park is a 10 minute drive from the cabin with a small State park entry fee. All are gems! White Lake and Swinging bridge both have boat rentals. ***Holiday Mountain Ski & Fun Park*** has been a staple in the Catskills Region for decades. Perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers. Snow tubing too! They are located in Monticello, New York, in beautiful Sullivan County, and a 15 minute drive from the cabin! They cater to families from all around the Hudson Valley and metro New York area. Fun Park in the Summer! RESORTS WORLD CASINO is a 10 minute drive! KARTRITE INDOOR WATERPARK is a 10 minute drive! PLAN AHEAD. LEGO LAND NY is in Goshen, not to far away. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin. Other things to note Due to HOA restrictions, this cabin DOES NOT offer use of the nearest lake/beach, Smallwood’s Mountain Lake/ beach but there are several wonderful lakes and beaches nearby. On a hot Summer day, you can dip your feet or more in Smallwood’s very own Minnie Falls Waterfall. There is parking for 2 large vehicles, or 3 small ones. Street parking is not allowed on streets any where in Smallwood. Smoking is allowed outside of the cabin. The gas fire pit is not to be used on the screened-in portion of the deck. It must remain on the open deck. The cabin has a septic system, there will be detailed information regarding usage in your welcome folder. There is air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms for those hot Summer days . In the Winter the house has forced heat and, a wood burning stove. The house has two Roku T.V.'s for your enjoyment. Nothing is authorized to be purchased or rented or subscribed from either of them. Do not leave any food outside of the cabin, we have bears. Please put all trash in the trash receptacle labeled and located in the basement. Please leave the house in the condition you found it and contact us immediately if something breaks or is not in working order during your stay. Finally, enjoy and have a wonderful visit! =)
