Description
Discover the authentic charm of a listed Provençal house, made of old stones, spiral staircases, low doors and colorful rooms — an ideal refuge in any season, quiet, between fireplace, hiking and starry sky. The space Our house, atypical and full of character, can comfortably accommodate up to seven people. Depending on the season, it turns into a real refuge: warmth of the fireplace, absolute calm of the village, changing light on the mountains and silence conducive to both rest and remote work. On the ground floor, a warm living room opens onto the garden. It lends itself as well to shared meals as to moments of reading or remote working. A blue bedroom, which can accommodate two people, completes this level. On the first floor are a pink bedroom for two people, a children's bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom. Finally, a small room under the roofs, extended by a terrace, offers a remarkable view of the valley and Mont Ventoux — a striking panorama, regardless of the season. Laure, that's her name, is surrounded by a terraced garden on three levels. There you will discover a hollowed-out rock serving as a shelter, the remains of an old castle gate, a large terrace open to the mountains, isolated benches conducive to reading... and a night sky of exceptional purity. The house is ideal for quiet stays, walking, writing, reading, resting or teleworking, with many hikes accessible directly from the village. The wood for the fireplace is checked before each stay to ensure a comfortable welcome when the evenings are cool. In July and August, the house is available by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. For other types of stays, please don't hesitate to contact us. Guest access The entire house is accessible to you, as well as the three levels of garden with its table, chairs, and outdoor sofas on the terrace. Other things to note The village of Brantes is entirely pedestrian, with pretty cobbled streets (calades). Parking is at the entrance to the village, then access to the house is on foot, in a quiet and authentic setting.
