The space This private studio apartment comes with access to our peaceful palm surrounded backyard with pool (shared) and lots of niches for sunbathing, book reading, dining and just relaxing. Cozy up to one of our hand tiled tables or a lounger to enjoy a cool beverage or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. 40’ TV with Cable, Comfortable Queen Bed, full size and fully stocked kitchen, private full sized bathroom make for a great place to base your getaway. Parking is free just outside the front door (for one car). Within walking distance there are some terrific restaurants, including a place with a great Tiki Hut on the river! We have worked with some of the local establishments to provide free drinks/discounts! Dozens of other restaurants within a 2 mile radius. 1.5 miles as the crow flies to the beach increases our easterly ocean breezes. We are 3 miles away by car to the beaches..Lauderdale by the sea and Pompano. A barbeque for our guests to use (upon request and $5 propane charge ). We personally check in all guests. We do have 24 hour check in available, however, if you are checking in after 9pm... please let us know so we can give you after hours check in instructions. Driving Times: Miami: 40-50 minutes, Miami Beach: 50-60 minutes, Orlando: 3 hours, Key Largo: 1 1/2 hours, Key West 3.5 hours, Kennedy Space Center 4 hours. Saw Grass Mills Mall: 30 min. All estimates do not reflect high traffic times. We are a fully licensed Short Term Vacation rental. Children under 12 cannot be accommodated. And any child need to be pre-approved as this space opens on to the pool area and additional hazards need to be addressed on a case by case basis Any and all children (of ANY age), must be requested in advance due to the special hazard of the back door opening to the pool. Pets are not permitted. We are severely allergic, so service animals cannot be accommodated. Additionally, we do not permit 3rd party bookings. We have learned through experience that if the person doing the booking is not on the premises.. communication becomes difficult and it is not fun. If you are attempting to book our space for someone else and you WILL NOT be a guest, please don't. Per the terms of service for Airbnb we do reserve the right to cancel 3rd party bookings if our concerns for communication are not addressed and /or we have not consented. Guest access Guests have private entrances both front and back and a fully stocked kitchen. All are invited to enjoy the pool, backyard, fire pit, lounges, tables and grill if they choose. Additionally a few bikes are available upon request for the use of our guests on a first come first serve basis. The Barbecue requires a $5 propane charge. Greg will set it up for you, you must clean after using and let us know when you are done so we can confirm all is shut off. Other things to note We are foodies and have cooked and shared delicious family style meals. We enjoy many cuisines, including Italian, Mexican, Polish, American, Steak and chops, French, Chinese, Greek and we are willing to try a hand at just about anything. We try to maintain everything to the best of our ability and we will do our best to communicate with you if there is something that might impact you when you are here. We ask that if there is something that needs our attention, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it as quickly as possible.
